19. Here are some pics with the engine sitting in the frame, engine mounts
attached and the engine is in the proper position.
20. Another view
21. A rear shot... 22. Close-up of the engine mount..
23. If you look at the back of the frame you can see the extra bracing that was
added to stiffen up the frame, this has to be done or the frame will flex.
24. ...and from the side
25. Once every thing was fitted, the frame was painted then fitted to the Clubman
Estate and was ready to accept the engine permanently.
26. View looking the other direction.
27. Here is the final sub frame installed, ready for the engine. 28. Now that the engine is fitted I started on building the turbo manifold  for the modified T2 turbo which was taken from a nissan 200SX.I had exhaust flanges cut by a company outside of town, the work on the flange was great. Then I purchased some stainless steel bits and welded them to the flange.
29. This process was done several times to make sure there was enough clearance
between engine and frame.
30. Here are some more pics of that process.
31. Here is a close-up of the installed Manifold.
32. and another shot of the manifold off the car
33. This is the turbo which will be installed on the engine. 34. And a close-up view from the side of the turbo.
35. Once the engine was put into the car the fitting of the turbo was done, along
with the intercooler piping the fitting of the blow off valve was next and for those of you who would like to know, if this valve is good enough for a 911 turbo then it's good enough for me..
36.A view of the front of the car.
37. View from the rear
38. Other side from the rear
39. There is still a bit of work to be done to the car, but it should be completed soon. For the interior I have added Mazda Miata seats, the Swifts gauges, complete wire harness, ecu, and switches.
40. The intercooler is from a Mazda 626 the exhaust
system or should I say the resonator was taken from a Honda Odyssey, no flow problems there as the van has a 3.5 liter V6. This car gives new meaning to the word Hybrid.
41. After powder coating the valve cover, it looks pretty good! To comment to Chris on his project ------> Send Mail to Mike
42. Here are the custom axles, Mini on one end, Suzuki on the other. 43. A Closeup of the ends..
